Excellent value in this model. After delivery, I hooked them up to an older model Denon receiver and tested them out by playing "photons through my window" by the Japanese percussionist AOKI Takamasa, which is about as representative a composition of as one might find. Firstly, the sound resolution is astonishing, every note of sustained keys layering on bass tones with no discernible distortion even at high volume. They're an excellent bit of kit and can throw out more than adequate sound energy in a small room. I first became aware of Cerwin Vega having heard an older pair of fifteens pushed to their limits at a rural farmhouse, and these smaller cousins are in every way as formidable, only on a considerably less powerful scale and extremely reasonable price.
