Palliser Furniture has been in business for over 60 years, starting in 1944,when Abram Albert DeFehr began making pieces in his Winnipeg, Manitoba basement.

Fast forward to today, where Palliser employs approximately 2500 people in Canada and Mexico. Palliser carefully sources the materials used, according to exacting standards. Engineers and Assemblers produce a staggering variety of furniture products, which include 85 different Leather options. 200 Fabric options are also available in a myriad of colours.

Leather

Palliser 1000 Grade Leather Corrected / Protected Top Grain leather is the most common leather. The leather is polished and a surface finish is applied resulting in consistant colour and finish. This grade of leather is the most economical and most durable. With the colourfastness and durability comes a slight loss in softness. 1000 Grade leather is perfect for home theatre seating especially where children are involved. Corrected leathers are cleaned with mild soap and water only. All 1000 Grade Leather is available as a Leather Match option

Palliser 1500 Grade Leather Available in 100% Leather only. This is a Corrected / Protected Top Grain Leather. The leather is polished and a surface finish is applied resulting in consistant colour and finish. A new grain pattern is embossed into the leather as well. With the colourfastness and durability comes a slight loss in softness. Grade 1500 leather is perfect for home theatre seating especially where children are involved. Cleaning involves light dusting with a clean damp cloth, and soiled areas with mild soap and water..

Palliser 2000 Grade Leather Classic and Tulsa Series available in 100% Leather. Broadway Series available on all Motion and select Stationary Styles as a Match. 2000 Grade is a Corrected / Top Grain Leather. The leather is lightly buffed to remove blemishes, but the natural grain is intact. The Leather is dyed and has a slight coating applied. The surface coating makes the leather resistant to abuse and stains. Tulsa Series are soft italian style leathers with a low matte finish. Classic Series Leathers are very supple italian style finishes with a two tone shading. Broadway is available with a Bonded Leather Match option

Palliser 5000 Grade Leather Like the 3000 Grade, 5000 Grade is a Top Grain Natural Leather. This is an uncorrected leather made from the finest unblemished hides. Very soft, and supple. Leather Match and Split are not available for this grade.

Phoenix Faux Leather - Grade 1 Faux Leather is also called Naugahyde. This fabric is 75% Polyurethane, 8% Cotton, and 17% Polyester. It has the look and feel of Nubuck Suede Leather.

Champion Bonded Leather Bonded Leather is comprised of Polyurethane surface, that is sprayed on the back with Leather shavings. The top finish is Polyurethane, but with a leather-like texture.
