Draper Motorized Screens

Draper offers a wide selection of motorized screens for virtually any application, from boardroom to operations center to home theater. Draper’s non-recessed motorized screens may be mounted on the wall or ceiling.

Tab Tensioned
            Tab tensioned screens feature a built in tensioning system to stretch the screen material perfectly flat. This improves picture quality by eliminating shadows and imperfections from edge curling and waves in the screen’s surface. Because of the requirements for tensioning, screens made of stretchable unsupported vinyl cost more than conventional textile backed screens.

• Accessories for Motorized Screens – Draper features a wide array of screen control options for any installation.

• Access MultiView- Designed for above ceiling installations. Like all Access series screens, the case may be ordered and installed prior to selecting a screen size. The Multiview is identical to the Access/Series V but features an integral masking system for automatic switching between two aspect ratio formats.

• Access/Series V – For ceiling recessed installations. White finished extruded aluminum case. “Plug-in” wiring connections make the Access easy to fit in small spaces. Plenum rated case. Access cases may be ordered and installed prior to selecting a screen size.

• Artisan/Series V – Stylish wooden wall mounted case offered in your choice of seven hardwood finishes, or any plastic laminate, in four different styles.

• Premier - White pentagonal steel case, motor in roller for smooth, silent operation.  White case available.

• Signature/Series V - Designed for installation above the ceiling. Features an independently motorized aluminum ceiling closure for virtually invisible installation when closed.

• Silhouette/Series V - Slender, contemporary design. Screen and dowel retract completely within case. Removable front fascia for service. Ships with dove grey case. White or black available.

• Ultimate Access/Series V – Identical to the Access/Series V, but with an independently motorized ceiling closure that opens into the case. Access cases may be ordered and installed prior to selecting a screen size. Designed for above ceiling installations

Non-Tensioned
            Non-tensioned screens feature a stiffer textile backed screen material to minimize picture imperfections. While non-tensioned screens won’t offer the same picture quality as tensioned screens, they are significantly less expensive and still feature excellent picture quality.

• Accessories for Motorized Screens – Draper features a wide array of screen control options for any installation.

• Access/Series E - For ceiling recessed installations. Flexible installation options with case first and screen later. Features motor in roller design. Suitable for installation in return air plenum. “Plug-in” wiring connections enable installation of case early in construction and screen later.

• Ambassador – Heavy duty direct drive mechanism for installation above any type of ceiling. And quiet. Black all wood case. Hinge type must be specified when ordering.

• Baronet - Compact, inexpensive motor in roller screen with universal mounting brackets. Scratch resistant white polyester finish. Comes with 10’ power cord with in-line switch – no wiring necessary. Hard wired versions available.

• Envoy - Designed with conference and meeting rooms in mind, with motor in roller for long life. Easy installation, featuring ceiling closure panel that can be finished to match ceiling. Designed for installation above the ceiling.

• Paragon – This large ceiling recessed screen was designed for auditoriums and lecture halls. Features a white extruded aluminum case. Operates on a 6” steel roller powered by an extremely strong motor-in-roller. Plenum rated.

• Premier – Draper’s most popular motorized screen. Black pentagonal steel case, motor in roller for smooth, silent operation. 

• Rolleramic – Draper’s most popular heavy duty screen. Ideal for larger installations. All wood case may be ceiling recessed or painted to match surroundings. Ships with black finish.

• Salara – Hardwired version of the Salara Plug and Play. Attractive elliptical extruded aluminum case featuring floating gunlatch brackets and domed end caps. Motor in roller.

• Salara Plug & Play - Identical to Salara but no wiring necessary. Comes with built in IR receiver, remote, and 10’ power cord.

• Signature/Series E – Designed for installation above the ceiling. Features automatic ceiling closure with concealed hinges for clean installation and operation.

Draper Manual Pulldown Screens

All Draper manually operated screens are carefully assembled and fully tested before packaging to make sure they operate perfectly. Draper’s patented design reduces friction between the viewing surface and lips of the case – the greatest single source of screen failures.

• Accessories for Manual Screens – Draper features a wide array of screen brackets, T-Bar twist clips and operating poles for any installation.

• Access/Series M – Spring roller operated screen with extruded aluminum case for recessed ceiling installation. Flanges on all four sides support acoustic ceiling tile, or can trim the opening for any ceiling type. Case may be installed during construction with screen installed later.

• Access/Series M with Autoreturn - Identical to Access/Series M but featuring Draper’s exclusive Autoreturn. With Autoreturn the roller mechanism gently raises the screen surface back into the case with a simple tug.

• Apex – Extruded aluminum case installs above the ceiling with a bottom flange to accept ceiling material. Specially designed white closure panel seals ceiling surface when screen is closed. Ships with detachable aluminum operating pole.

• Artisan/Series M – The most attractive spring-roller operated screen money can buy. Housed in your choice of solid, hand rubbed hardwood case, or plastic laminate case, in your choice of color and finish. Compliments any room décor.

• Evenroll – Rope and pulley screen utilizes nylon pulleys and flanged spools for smooth operation. Draper’s largest manually operated screen in sizes up to 30 feet x 30 feet.

• Luma - High quality inexpensive pull down design. Spring roller operated. May be wall or ceiling mounted. 2” black masking standard on 16:9 and 4:3 format screens. Ships white.

• Luma 2 - Heavy duty wall or ceiling screen for years of dependable operation. Spring roller operated. Scratch resistant white polyester finish. Black available.

• Luma w/Black Masking Borders - High quality inexpensive pull down design. Spring roller operated. May be wall or ceiling mounted. 1:1 (square) format. Ships white.

• Luma with Autoreturn - Identical to Luma but featuring Draper’s exclusive Autoreturn. With Autoreturn the roller mechanism gently raises the screen surface back into the case with a simple tug.

• Premier/Series C – This screen offers a perfectly flat viewing surface thanks to Draper’s tab tensioning system. This screen is raised and lowed by using a detachable polished aluminum handle instead of a motor. Pentagonal shaped black steel case with matching endcaps and universal brackets are included.

• Salara/Series M – Elliptical extruded aluminum case with domes endcaps and white finish. Floating gunlatch wall brackets grip the screen securely and are virtually invisible. Sized above 70” include pull cord.

• Salara/Series M with Autoreturn – Identical to Salara/Series M but featuring Draper’s exclusive Autoreturn. With Autoreturn the roller mechanism gently raises the screen surface back into the case with a simple tug.

• Silhouette/Series C - Identical to Silhouette/Series M but featuring a crank operated mechanism and Draper’s tab tensioning system.

• Silhouette/Series M - Sleek and slender design with no visible fasteners. Ships white with no exposed fasteners.

• Silhouette/Series M with Autoreturn - Identical to Silhouette/Series M but featuring Draper’s exclusive Autoreturn. With Autoreturn the roller mechanism gently raises the screen surface back into the case with a simple tug.

• Star - Sturdy, durable construction ideal for classrooms. Cylindrical steel case is scratch resistant white. May be wall or ceiling mounted.

• V Screen - The only screen with a 5 year warranty. Spring roller operated. Reasonably priced for heavy use. V bar aluminum support attaches to any wall, ceiling, or map rail hooks. Ships white.

Draper Fixed Projection Screens

Fixed wall screens are permanently tensioned providing a perfectly flat viewing surface for optimal picture quality. They are permanently installed on the wall and do not retract into a screen case. Fixed wall screens provide the best screen surfaces with the best over-all picture quality.

• Cineperm – Draper’s Cineperm consists of a 1” tubular steel frame that assembles without tools. The screen surface snaps to the frame in minutes. The snaps are contained in the 2” black border. The Cineperm features best over-all picture quality based on price.

• Clarion – Clarion’s attractive black aluminum frame forms an attractive 2 inch beveled border for a clean theater like appearance. Screen material attaches to the back of the frame without snaps and provides superior tensioning.

• Clarion with Veltex – Veltex is a velvety black textile coating that cuts reflections to virtually zero and conceals all trace of joints in the frame.
  
  
• Onyx – The Onyx has a 4 inch black beveled aluminum frame and proprietary adjustable surface tensioning system. The wider frame provides superior protection against overscan. Assembles in minutes.

• Onyx with Veltex – Veltex is a velvety black textile coating that cuts reflections to virtually zero and conceals all trace of joints in the frame.

• Shadowbox Clarion – Utilizes a 1 ½ inch tubular aluminum frame painted flat black. The fabric attaches to the back of the frame, allowing the frame to form an attractive black border to the screen. Veltex is available as an option.

Draper Rear Projection Screens

Draper offers several distinct types of rear projection screens – traditional diffusion and optical screens, exclusive IRUS technology, and high contrast technology.

Draper Cinescreen Diffusion Rear Screens

Draper coats a transparent glass or acrylic substrate with a permanently bonded diffusion medium. Draper’s Cinescreen is unique in that it features both optical coatings as well as an optical tint, formulated for your specific requirements. Cineframe factory installed frames are available as an option.

• Cineglass – Recommended for maximum sound isolation, scratch resistance and service life. Weighs approximately twice as much as acrylic, breaks more easily, and must be installed by a glazier.

• Cineplex – Lightweight, durable and break resistant. Easier to install than Cineglass, but requires more care in cleaning.

Optical Rear Screens

• Diamond Screen - Largest vertical viewing cone of any product of its type. Molded surface derived phenomenal optical performance from its patented Fresnel / lenticular lens system.
  

• High Contrast black – Super high contrast black rear projection screen for video wall and other demanding requirements. Features vivid color contrast under any lighting conditions with exceptional viewing angles. Available by quote only.

• IRUS - Developed specifically for high resolution single lens projectors. Incredible uniformity for hot spot free operation. Excellent color and contrast performance. Ideal for areas where ambient light can’t be controlled.

• Vortex - A 0.5 mm Fresnel lens gathers the light from the projector and directs it at a right angle through the screen. As the light exits the screen on the audience side, a diffusion medium redistributes the light evenly in all directions—up, down, left, right and center. Excellent resolution and color contrast with exceptional uniformity.
